We'll Reeducate the Superstitious Peasants, Yet!
1960's Soviet Propaganda Poster: "Religious Rites, Young and Old, Break the Ties!"

Religious freedom? Well, at least these people are finally being honest about what they believe. One can read much about the forced secularization of American life in general, mostly out of a sense of noblesse-oblige from the self annointed betters of our society. In other words, they are practicing their favorite line oft mentioned during self-congratulatory cocktail conversation about willfully converting the ignorant masses: "Dragging them kicking and screaming into the 21st Century."
Once again, the champions of tolerance prove that they are anything but. In the drive to make the great American unwashed come out of their ignorance, forced secularization is becoming the norm from bodies politic, usually among those with leftist leanings. Then again, in the words of their fellow traveller and would be man-god Lenin, "Some people are are more equal than others."
In true use of the First Amendment as toilet tissue, two low-income housing projects in Winter Park, Florida and Mechanicsburg, PA have essentially banned carroling and decoration of their apartment doors with religious symbols. After all, the good proletariat wouldn't have their clear intellect burdened by such superstition. If you don't believe me, here are the links to the story:
World Net Daily
Liberty Counsel

These good folks who run the low income housing evidently are only following the law of "seperation of church and state," except that there is no such thing, only that the First Amendment prohibits the establishment of a "state church," and precisely the infringement of religious liberty that we see here. If there is any argument against twenty year's worth of education in Social Studies, it is the insanity that we see shoved into the faces of the American public by these self-annointed important persons.
Mirror that against the like minded comerade educators from Ridgeway Elementary School in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Although the Christmas program, redubbed "Winter Program," would decorate classrooms and the building with all manner of decorations that included: Santa Claus, menorahs, Kwanzaa items, and La Befana (the Italian "Christmas witch"), no manner of the actual reason for Christmas could be seen or heard. In fact, the hymn "Silent Night" was completely rewritten for the singing of the children as "Cold in the Night." Jesus is strictly "verboten!" How dare the people of limited intellect and the easily led trifle with important matters of education that only a properly state-trained educator has the capacity of understanding?
After action by those pesky parents who really don't know how to properly raise their children in the first place, the school backed off on the corruption of the hymn. Still, the audacity and the defiant spirit of the comerade educators remain. Next year, maybe they will require "seasonal rydalin" for the "suspect children?"
To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln, he once said that the philosophy of a generation in the classroom will be that generation's philiosophy of government as it gets older. Americans who value their freedom should be scared. Very, very scared.

Tolerance and Inclusion Through Intolerance and Exclusion

Once again, the champions of tolerance prove that they are anything but "tolerant." The lastest cause celebre' of the self annointed betters of our society is the demand for the eradication of Christmas from public view and places.
The reason? What they say is twofold: 1. The seperation of church and state, and 2. that we must be "inclusive."

In short, to pervert the law that protects freedom or worship, speech, and assembly to suit their Bolshevik pipe dream to eradicate freedom of worship, speech, and assembly:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peacably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Amendment I.

If one wishes to engage in absurd fantasy and assumes that there is such a law as the elimination of all things religious from the public square, then these folks might actually have an argument. It has extended beyond governmental buildings, but a demand in all public places, wherther they be bodies politic or businesses. It has gone beyond the removal of Nativity scenes, and public singing of Hymns of Adoration, to involve even the "cultural cleansing" of the removal of Santa Claus, elves, reindeer, and snowmen.

Granted, I may not have graduate studies in Divinity, but I do not remember any elves, reindeer, flying slieghs, or fat elves commiting acts of burglary in the Bible. So...what gives? Even the "usual suspects" of some level of education and learning seek to ban Chrsitmas, stating that it was adopted by the Catholic church as a Christian holiday from pagan roots; therefore, it has no place in a Christian observance. Kind of an interesting tack from unbelievers who thinkthat all who do are idiots in the extreme.

The problem is fundamentally this: a disdain for the people who believe in God, who follow what they dub as "superstition," and a refusal to go along with their Socialist betters who only have their best intrests at heart. These people think, no...better make that "feel," in their heart of hearts that these poorly-educated and easily led people of limited intellect cost them governmental Nirvana in the 2000 and 2004 elections.

Essentially, what you see today is a sincere desire to "punish" these modern-day kulaks who refuse to go along with their Socialist betters' progroms. The desire to ban Christmas has long been a distant bong-dream in the THC polluted minds of the political Left, with it being a "Capitalist ploy" to get the poorly educated, easily led, and those of limited intellect to spend their hard earned sweatshop dollars in greedy corporate America's stores and malls.

The idea that it is a religious observance is correct, but that is the history and culture of the people in the nation where we live. If you want to shut yourself away from well-wishers and merry-makers, so be it. Just do not force others to become as miserable as yourself. After all, that is the Liberal definition of "equality:" spreading misery equally.

The idea that Christmas is not inclusive, and must be sacrificed out of a desire to make all faiths feel welcome is a red herring. No other religious observance is held to the same standard. Look at Channukka, with its strong and unmolested (for now) observance. Look at the wholly American manufactured pseudo holliday of Kwanza. It is not even considered to be brought to the same scrutiny. Even the observance of Ramadan, with its fast during daylight hours, is not even approachable for debate. Yet, for some reason, Christmas is punishing scores of millions through "exclusion."

This tack is nothing new. The Bolshevik rule under Lenin often called opposition to his plans "hate" and "intolerance" of the poor and working classes, and generally oppressed peoples of the world. I guess some things never change?

As long as there exists a majority of the population who believes that their rights as a free people are granted from a soveriegn God, and not the noblesse-oblige of a politician who seeks to rule as a god, these people will always be about the ankles of the saner elements of society like yapping little dogs.

Maybe its about time to swat them on the nose like one?

The New National Symbol,

or,

Just Cut and Run!

For some time, it has been plain that some people within our nation are more concerned about re-election, or to paraphrase John Stuart Mill, are too concerned with comfort and safety to be kept free and made so only by the exertions of better men than themselves.

The vote on the floor of the House demanding a timetable for withdrawal of forces from Iraq did more to embolden every Jihadi within reach of any forms of telecommunication. The self-righteous claptrap uttered by Representative John Murtha (D) demanding a withdrawal was irresponsible at best, treasonous at worst.

Okay, Mr. Murtha, you went to Viet Nam. Fine. Thanks for your service.

But does that give you the right to demand the defeat and retreat of our armed forces (read NATION) engaged in our current war? I only hear the justification of cutting and running " 'cuz I went to Viet Nam" among the usual crowd of suspects. Might I remind you, military service alone does not make you right, as so many are so willing to point out when little things are challenged, say, like how many absentee military ballots from Bosnia in the 2000 Presdiential election?

Then again, Hitler was decorated for wounds recieved as a Non-Commissioned Officer (Corporal) while in the German Army during the First World War. By your own logic, Misters Murtha, Kerry, et al, that makes his actions and plans unassailable because he served.

This self-interested sedition crosses party lines, with Republicans spewing the same ill-concieved plan for "peace."

They only saved something that remains of their reputation through forcing a vote to be made on the timetable immediately. Of course, six of the Representatives voted "present," being too cowardly to even be a coward. Four voted in favor of it, and these are confined to the "kook fringe." I guess time in Washington was more easily obtainable than commital in any mental hospital?

I have never met any real veteran of any conflict that spewed the same self-interested crap as Murtha, Kerry, and crowd. Most are concerned that we aren't doing enough!

For the " 'cuz I went to Viet Nam" crowd, did you learn anything from your own generation's war? Didn't you learn that every third world nation seeking to defeat us would have to do it in our media? These same nations figured out that to defeat a "firepower rich" nation, you get them entangled in a war of attrition through loss of onesy-twoseys, and use the media to defeat the American population in their own homes.

And didn't you learn, after we cut and run, of the bloodbath and chaos that would follow?

Then again, a Marine Reserve officer, also a Representative in the Ohio state legislature, had a few words to say by pen, read aloud on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives by his U.S. House member, "Cowards cut and run, real Marines never do." The uproar from the self-annointed masters of the American peasantry was deafening! "How dare a babykiller question me!?!?"

I wonder how long it will be before Article 88 training will be given to all active and reserve component personnel?

Until then, here's my opinion:

You are all a bunch a selfish seditionists. Period. Stop trying to relive the mispent days of your youth in the '60's, and get out of the way of the real Americans!

The New 1st Amendment

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peacably assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." Amendment I.

That is, you have the freedom to say whatever you want, only if your self annointed "betters" agree with it.

The Constitution forbids the Government from shutting you up, and practicing your own beliefs, but what about private organizations and businesses? Groups and corporations have the same right under the Constitution to speak, but at what cost to others' rights?

One has only to look at the increased political activism of private corporations, and the willing to just do whatever political action groups demand without so much as a complaint.

The canary in the coal mine was in South Carolina, where the multitude of corporations in the state, as well as the NCAA, took part in removing the Confederate flag from the state capitol It was placed there by none other than Governor...later Senator... Fritz Hollings (D), on the centenial of the War Between the States. As time went by, the detractors of all things Southern decided that it was placed there out of institutionalized racism, and that it must come down. Never mind that this is a state issue that passed a referrendum, but private out-of-state corpporations made it clear that they will do anything possible to "punish" the state if the people continued to exercise voter validated state soveriegnty.

The more accurate ANV infantry battle flag was then moved to the Confederate War Memorial on the grounds of the Capitol, as every other war memorial is placed. Still, this was not good enough for the usual gang of supects, and the NCAA "penalized" South Carolina, making any NCAA teams inelligible to host a bowl game, or to participate in one

.

Fast forward to today, where now any team with an indian name is now held to the same level of insensitivity.

All I can say to those who laughed at S.C.: "I told you so!"

This level of private organization sensitivity and censorship has reached absurd levels during this current world war. One cannot racially profile radical Islamic men between the ages of 18-35, as that would be most intolerable. Instead, we shake down 80-year old grandmothers in the name of "winning the war on terror."

Now, this only seems to be getting worse, as "We, the People," have allowed it to become so.

Radio talk show host Michael Graham, previously written about by myself on this blog, was finally terminated for "insensitivity" for his four part series on Islam. Evidently, the corporate suits at ABC-Disney felt that perceptions were more important than reality, and that anything that CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations, known supporters of Hamas and Islamic jihad worldwide) had to say was important, as they represent the "downtrodden." I won't spend a lot of time on CAIR, other than that it has been posted on this board before with more footnotes and sources than you can shake a bomb vest at, and that it is essentially the "front men" for Islamofascisim. They essentially seek to change this into an Islamic nation with Shiria law through our own media and political system. They pretty much come running to the defense of any and all Islamic terrorist suspect s in this country, even when they have been proven guilty.

For those who say that there is nothing to CAIR than that they are just another "advocacy group" speaking their mind, just remember....the Koran allows those to lie to non-Muslims. So, they are self-righteously full of crap.

Graham's problem was that he dared to give a four part series on Islam, and how the current culture of violence does not fit in with the mindset of millions of Muslims worldwide. He continued to point out that Islam's problem is that they do not point out and condemn the violent in their midst, and that they only condemn violence as a last resort. Oddly, this is allowed by the Koran when faced with defeat. In short, by their inaction, Islamic peoples approve the actions taken by radicals who seek to spread the "love" of Islam by blood.

In true Islamofascist fashion, when presented with the truth, this person is rapidly attacked by the defenders of Hamas and ordred to shut up. Showing remarkable adaptability to assimilate into American free society for their owm purposes, they readily call Graham's series "hate-speech." Oddly enough, this group also closely cooperates with the ACLU. If this had been an Islamic country, Graham would not only be sans his job, but his head.

One could be understanding if this template of "tolerance" was applied universally to any religious body in our nation today. Unfortunately, it isn't. What would it take to get fired if anyone would say "hateful " things about anyone, according to Graham:

For example, to lose your radio gig for offending Catholics, you have to go so far as to having a couple engaged in on-air, non-immaculate conception in the back of a cathedral (Opie and Anthony). To get chased off the radio waves for offending families with kids riding in the car, you have to have explicit, "how-to" conversations involving lesbians, vegetables and petroleum by-products (Howard Stern). To get fired for offending Christian evangelicals, you have to...

Actually, that's not possible. You can publicly dismiss all evangelicals as people of limited intellect who are easily led, and you'll be defended on the New York Times editorial page.

Sad, but true. Regarding the same template of tolerance towards Christians...you know, those people who put Bush in the White House against the protests of their betters...simply doesn't get applied to that faith. Never mind it makes up the vast majority of the nation.

Hugh Downs of ABC's 20/20 in November of 1992 connected Christians to Nazis:

"In the 1920s, the Ku Klux Klan urged the nation to adopt family values and to return to old-time religion. Similarly, Adolf Hitler launched a family-values regimen. Hitler's centered on his ideas of motherhood. Fanatics in the Ku Klux Klan, the Nazi Party, the Hezbollah, or any other intolerant organization, refer to themselves as religious warriors. As warriors, fanatics censor the thoughts of others and love to burn books."

What happened to him? Nothing.

Not only do they condemn Chrsitians, they bend over backwards through mental gymnastics of the worst order to avoid calling "terrorists" terrorists!

ABC once again on World News Tonight, August 2003:

"Abu Shanab was a senior member of Hamas, a political and social welfare organization with a military wing that has launched terror attacks against Israel. Shanab was not a declared military operative and had a reputation as a political moderate, but Israel said today that all Hamas leaders are responsible for terrorism."(Reporter Mike Lee).

Hamas makes for a pretty odd welfare organization. Mercy killings, maybe?

Then again, these same people are more at ease calling Jessie Helms a terrorist (George Stephanopoulis, ABC's "This Week" 14 Sep 97) than the ones actively attempting to destroy this country.

Whether we like it or not, we are fighting an enemy that has declared war upon our very existence, and aided by those with a misguided sense of noblesse-oblige and using the very safeguards of our own liberty to be used as a weapon against us.

That is, if we let them.

Get involved. Get active. Get educated. Take charge of your own country, before you lose it.

"THE GREAT REPERATIONS RIP-OFF"

We're comin' afta' you...votes cost money!

Although slavery has been abolished since after the War Between the States in 1865, and there exists a level of freedom today that has been unmatched by any other time and place on the planet, there is a disturbingly shrill voice demanding "reperations" to the descendants of slaves.

Never mind that several generations have come and gone since 1865, and that not even the child of a former slave lives today, a demand for one of the greatest hustles in our history is well underway to becoming a reality.

Although slavery is not acceptable when referring to Biblical authority, it has existed upon the face of the globe since one man learned that he could keep another captive. The problem with the reperations movement is, is that it goes against the Consititution and common sense.

In the 14th Amendment, Section 4, it plainly states that "But neither the United States nor any state shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States , OR ANY CLAIM FOR THE LOSS OR EMANCIPATION OF ANY SLAVE; but all such debts, obligations, and claims shall be held illegal and void" (Caps added ).

Not only is this unconstitutional, how does one "qualify" for this great vote-buying scheme, especially in a nation where blood is mixed? What will qualify as documentary proof? My own grandfather ( a still-living person) was listed as "Mulatto" on the 1920 Census. Do I qualify, and if so, in whole or in part?

What if the claimant in question was the descendant of Black slaveowners? Does this forfeit his elegibility for some sort of payment?

How about the descendants of white slaveowners who FREED their slaves? Will they be exempt from the tax or levy to pay for all of this, or will they be entitled to some measure of the reward? That brings us to the next question...who pays for it?

Of course, the racket from the same corners is that "all White people" are responsible, therefore should pay through taxation of some sort. Again, using the same racial demographics of mixed blood, arrival in the U.S. prior to or after Emancipation, the ancestor's part in the freeing of slaves and such, how would one figure a formula for "monies owed," and in what quantity? Do Americans who happen to be of "mostly" black ancestry have to pay for the crime of having mixed blood?

Again, the U.S. Constitution forbids such payments. The U.S. government, although admittedly eager to "punish" the South after Lincoln's death, did have the good sense to realize that reparing the "financial" loss of a human being would only add to the debt of the war, as well as serve to drive a wedge deeper between the sections of the country to be united. Never mind that this would also lend legitimacy to the practice and idea of slavery as an institution, by the act of reimbursement for loss of property value.

Then again, the whole "Reperations Movement," like so many other movements from the "Hate America Left," has the same disdain for the Constitution, and would sooner repeal all safeguards of our liberties for the sake of their own personal gain. The Constitution, according to former President Clinton himself, is "A hinderance to good government."

I guess it is, when your definition of "good government" means that all people are subject to the will of one man or party, and that God-granted liberties are an archaic, simplistic fantasy.

Before those with an "R" by their names chuckle too loudly, your actions versus your words on "limited government" are telling. There are those who are willing to jump on this bandwagon to garner votes, implying that only those in the southern states will be effected.

If there is some altruistic desire to lash out in abolitionistic fervor, there is plenty of slavery still in the world today to stop. North African and Arabic countries still practice the slave trade, and it is considered "protected" by Islam. Asian countries today freely engage in the trafficing of human beings (mostly women and children) for the sex trade. Children in this very country are kidnapped and smuggled out of the country via Mexico for the same purpose, mostly to wealthy Arabs. Then again, battling this kind of REAL slavery demands a bit of effort, commitment, and intelligence. It also requires being selfless as opposed to selfish. That, I am afraid, would defeat the whole momentum of the reperations movement.

I think I have your attention, now. Rhino 21, out.

Sensitivity Akbar!

Islam: religion of "peace," or "peices?" There has been much hand-wringing in that Islam is a "peaceful" religion since the attacks against the west by Al-Queada and allied terrorist organizations since 1993, but not once has there been a "large" group of clerics that spoke out against this mindless violence until today.

The thing is, the same clowns speaking out against violence have a rather untrsutworthy charachter.

The Council on American Islamic Relations managed to get controversial talk-show host Michael Graham furloughed without pay from WMAL A.M. radio for making the comments that "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam." The article posted in the "Washington Post"
(http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/07/28/AR2005072802241_pf.html) makes a weighty issue of Graham's comments. Graham, never my favorite radio personality when working in AM 730 in Charleston, S.C. (one of the few stations in South Carilona that does its part for global worker's revolution by brodcasting Air America) , is essentially accused of the typical leftist felony number one, "Hate Speech." The article states:
"Graham, 42, said on his mid-morning program on Monday that the fault for recent acts of terrorism lies not with Islamic radicals alone but also with Muslims generally because religious leaders and followers have tacitly supported extreme elements. "The problem is not extremism," Graham told listeners. "The problem is Islam." He also said, "We are at war with a terrorist organization named Islam."

The article goes on in more detail about the Jihadosophs that made attacking the speaker an issue, and not the "hate-speech" that continues under the mantle of "Freedom of Religion:"

"I think this action is long overdue and appropriate," Hooper said of Graham's suspension. "I think it's a testament to the determination of individual Muslims who contacted the station and its advertisers to say Islamophobia and anti-Muslim bigotry are unacceptable." One advertiser, Moore Cadillac Hummer, wrote a letter to CAIR denouncing Graham's statements but did not say it would pull its ads, he said.

I have to give Graham credit for some of his Pee Dee blood showing through, in that he refuses to apologise, and refuses to recant. He is quoted in the article as saying, "If fighting for free speech and for the truth in the war on terrorism means getting fired by some corporate suits at ABC Disney who can't stand up for free speech -- so be it. But I will not recant."

MY PROBLEM IN ALL OF THIS? IF MICHAEL GRAHAM HAD STOOD UP AND SAID SOMETHING ALONG THE LINE THAT ALL JEWS ARE CROOKS AND SHOULD DIE, OR THAT ALL BLACKS ARE STUPID AND SHOULD BE PUT IN SEPERATE SCHOOLS WITH SECURITY GUARDS, I MIGHT HAVE TO AGREE WITH IBRAHAM HOOPER...BUT HE DIDN'T. HE SPOKE THE TRUTH!

The thing is, CAIR and its players are a bit shady from the start. These are pretty much the front men for the enemy, and are the ones who do misrepresentation in our own media, in a special "dispensation" to tell untruths that further the jihad.

Here's a little bit of info for the curious of WHO is involved with CAIR /Fiqh Council of North America (http://www.investigativeproject.org/FCNA-CAIR.html) ...especially comments from the "champion of tolerance," Ibraham Hooper.

Read on....Rhino 21, out.

Members of FCNA connected to Islamic extremism and terrorism

Abdurrahman Alamoudi

Abdurrahman Alamoudi, head of the American Muslim Council and American Muslim Foundation, was a trustee of the Fiqh Council of North America
[1], a fact which he omitted, along with several other associations to various other Islamic organizations, from his U.S. citizenship/naturalization application. He was subsequently convicted of immigration fraud based on those omissions and plead guilty to a plot in which he was going to assassinate the leader of Saudi Arabia on behalf of Al Qaeda associates in London. He was sentenced to 23 years in prison.

On July 14, 2005, the Treasury Department issued a statement announcing that Alamoudi had facilitated the transfer of approximately $1 million to Al-Qaida from an organization called the Movement for Islamic Reform in Arabia (MIRA), a U.K.-based Saudi oppositionist group, a group designated a terrorist organization by Treasury.
[2] The Treasury Department release stated that the arrest of Alamoudi was a “severe blow to al Qaida, as Alamoudi had a close relationship with al Qaida and had raised money for al Qaida in the United State s.”[3]
On September 29, 2003, Alamoudi was charged in the Eastern District of Virginia for illegal financial dealings with Libya, immigration fraud and tax evasion.
[4] In July of 2004, Alamoudi plead guilty to three felony offenses[5] and admitted to taking part in a Libyan plot to assassinate Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia .[6] In October of 2004 Alamoudi was sentenced to 23 years in prison.[7]

Taha Jaber Al-Alawani

· According to his website at the Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences (GSISS), Al-Alawani is the President of the Fiqh Council of North America and was previously President of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) in Herndon, Virginia.
[8]

· Al-Alawani is an unindicted co-conspirator in the case against Sami al-Arian, the alleged North American leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, whose trial began in June 2005 in Tampa, Florida.

· Al-Alawani is an official of several organizations, including the SAFA Group, which the government suspects is related to a network of terrorist entities.

· In an affidavit filed in the Eastern District of Virginia by Senior Special Agent David Kane of the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement division of the Department of Homeland Security, Kane states “I have found information indicative of a conspiracy between Safa Group individuals and Sami Al-Arian to support and fund terrorists and terrorist groups including HAMAS and PIJ.”

· In a letter introduced into evidence at the trial of al-Arian, Al-Alawani affirmed financial and ideological support that Al-Alawani’s organization provided to al-Arian:

Honorable brother, I think we do not need to affirm that we consider you as a Group, you and brother Mazen [al-Najar] and brother Khalil [Shikaki, brother of PIJ founder Fathi Shikaki] and brother Bashir [Nafi ] and Brother Ramadan [Shallah, present head of PIJ] and Sheikh Abdel Aziz [Odeh, a founder and spiritual leader of the PIJ], a part of us and an extension of us, and us part of you and extension of you also, we never experienced any doubts about that since we knew you and we will continue like that.

And the matter of the financial support was never the basis of our relationship, for our relation added to the brotherhood of faith and Islam is an ideological and cultural concordance with the same objectives and all of your institutions are considered by us as ours, and they receive all the attention, and I explained to you the circumstances the institutions of your brother go through, and despite which we can truthfully say that we gave your institutions or our institutions that you manage more attention than institutions we manage by ourselves, because you are in an important positions without a doubt, and you deserve from us and our likes all cooperation, God willing . . .
[9]

Sheikh Muhammad al-Hanooti

· Sheikh Muhammad al-Hanooti is a member of the Fiqh Council.
· From 1984 to 1986, al-Hanooti was the president of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP).
[10] The IAP has a long history of links to Middle East terrorism and its financial support. A 2001 INS memo extensively documented IAP’s support for HAMAS and noted that the “facts strongly suggest” that IAP is “part of HAMAS’ propaganda apparatus.”[11] In August 2002, a federal judge ruled that there was evidence that “the Islamic Association for Palestine has acted in support of HAMAS.”[12]
· And most significantly, in December 2004, a federal magistrate judge held the IAP civilly liable for $156 million in the 1996 shooting of an American citizen by a HAMAS member in the West Bank.
[13]
According to an audiotape from a 1998 speech, Hanooti stated:

“At the moment, Dar al-Hijra is the greatest example in sacrifice, execution and in carrying out the Jihad that Allah calls for. Allah will give us the victory over our tyrannical enemies in our country. Allah, the infidel Americans and British are fighting against you. Allah, the curse of the infidel Americans and British are fighting against you. Allah, the curse of Allah will become true on the infidel Jews and on the tyrannical Americans.”
[14]

Muzammil Siddiqui

· Muzammil Siddiqui is a member of the Fiqh Council
[15], and has served as president[16]

· Siddiqui was also Chairman of the Department of Religious Affairs at the Muslim World League (MWL) Office to the United Nations from 1976 to 1980.
[17] MWL has been linked by government documents and intelligence to terrorist groups including Al-Qaeda.

On October 28, 2000 at a rally in Lafayette Park in Washington D.C., Siddiqui said, “America has to learn -- if you remain on the side of injustice, the wrath of God will come!”
[18]

Jamal Badawi
Badawi is a member of the Fiqh Council.
[19] Badawi serves as vice chairman of the Islamic American University.[20] The Islamic American University is a subsidiary of the Muslim American Society (MAS). According to the MAS website, “it is one of MAS main projects.”[21] MAS commonly glorifies leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood[22] and distributes Muslim Brotherhood propaganda.[23] The Muslim Brotherhood is the ideological precursor to the major Sunni Islamic terrorist groups, including Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Al-Qaeda.[24]

· Badawi issued a fatwa authorizing a husband to physically punish his wife: "There are cases, however, in which a wife persists in bad habits and showing contempt of her husband and disregard for her marital obligations. Instead of divorce, the husband may resort to another measure that may save the marriage, at least in some cases. Such a measure is more accurately described as a gentle tap on the body, but never on the face, making it more of a symbolic measure than a punitive one.
[25] One wonders why Badawi would restrict the physical contact from the face if he were expecting his followers to actually punish their wives with only a “gentle tap”?

Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a public affairs organization based in Washington, D.C. CAIR is an offshoot of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), a front for the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas. It was created in 1994 by two leaders of the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP). In August 2002, a federal judge ruled that there was evidence that “the Islamic Association for Palestine has acted in support of Hamas.” CAIR was also founded in part with donations from the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, a Specially Designated Global Terrorist organization, as well as two Saudi organizations, the World Assembly of Muslim Youth and the International Islamic International Relief Organization.

The Terror Ties of CAIR Officials, Fundraisers & Trainers:

Ghassan Elashi
Ghassan Elashi was a founding Board Member of CAIR-Texas.
[26] Elashi was also Chairman[27] and Treasurer[28] of HLF and Vice President of Marketing for Infocom, a computer export company.[29]
· Elashi was convicted on July 7, 2004 of six counts, including false statements, conspiracy to violate the Export Administrations Regulations and the Libyan Sanctions Regulations, and conspiracy to file false Shipper’s Export Declaration forms.
[30] Infocom was found guilty on all ten counts with which it was charged.[31] Additionally, Ghasan Elashi and his brothers Basman and Bayan were found guilty of the Marzook-related charges on April 13, 2004.[32]
· Additionally, on July 27, 2004, Elashi, HLF, and six other HLF officials were indicted for providing material support to Hamas, engaging in prohibited financial transactions with a Specially Designated Global Terrorist, money laundering, conspiracy and filing false tax returns.
[33]
Randall (Ismail) Royer
According to a biography posted on IslamOnline.net, Royer began working as CAIR’s Communication Specialist in 1997.
[34] He worked for CAIR at least through late October 2001.[35]
· On January 16, 2004, Royer was convicted of weapons and explosives charges in connection to a terrorist related offense.
[36] He was sentenced to twenty years in prison.[37]
· While he was still working for CAIR, Royer purchased an AK-47 assault rifle and 219 rounds of ammunition, distributed newsletters for a group later designated as a foreign terrorist organization and fired at Indian targets in Kashmir, according to a federal indictment.
[38]
Bassam Khafagi
· As late as November 1, 2002, Bassam Khafagi served as CAIR’s Director of Community Relations.
[39] Nihad Awad claims that “Khafagi was never an ‘employee’ of CAIR. He was commissioned as an independent contractor for CAIR, effective November 2, 2001.”[40]
· Khafagi was arrested and indicted in January 2003 on bank fraud charges.
[41] According to media reports, Khafagi was still employed by CAIR at the time of his arrest.[42] In September 2003, Khafagi pled guilty to bank and visa fraud[43] and a judge ordered him deported.[44]
· Khafagi also served as founding member and President of the Islamic Assembly of North America (IANA).
[45] IANA is under investigation in the U.S. for money laundering and recruiting terrorists over the Internet,[46] and the FBI raided its offices in February 2003.[47]
Rabih Haddad
· Haddad served as a fundraiser for CAIR’s Ann Arbor chapter.
[48]
· Haddad was co-founder of the Global Relief Foundation, whose assets the U.S. government froze on December 14, 2001 for financially supporting Al Qaeda.
[49]After 9/11, CAIR asked people to donate to GRF to assist the victims of the attacks.[50]
· On December 14, 2001, the government took Haddad into custody, detaining him on a visa violation.
[51] In November 2002, an Immigration Judge denied Haddad’s application for asylum, concluding that he presented “a substantial risk to the national security of the United State s.”[52] According to the Treasury Department, Haddad was a member of Makhtab Al-Khidamat, the precursor organization to Al Qaeda.[53]
· In July 2003, Haddad was deported to Lebanon.

CAIR CONSISTENTLY OPPOSES U.S. GOVERNMENT ACTION AGAINST INDIVIDUALS SUSPECTED OF INVOLVEMENT IN TERRORISM
CAIR vehemently defended alleged Palestinian Islamic Jihad mastermind Sami Al-Arian and alleged that his arrest was based on “political considerations.”
On February 20, 2003, of South Florida professor Sami al-Arian Al-Arian was indicted for allegedly serving as North American leader of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ),
[55] a U.S. government-designated terrorist organization that Attorney General John Ashcroft labeled “one of the most violent terrorist organizations in the world.”[56]PIJ is allegedly responsible for the deaths of two Americans and over 100 Israelis.[57]
Despite Al-Arian’s documented history of extremism, CAIR officials have consistently defended him since his arrest. For example, appearing on MSNBC’s “Buchanan & Press” the day of Al-Arian’s arrest, Ibrahim Hooper suggested that the charges against Al-Arian were “politically motivated”:
I think the problem we're seeing is that the Israelization of American policy and procedures, the failed tactics of the Israelis, where, if you just kill a few more people, destroy a few more homes, seize a few more acres, everything will be OK. We don't want to take that and translate it into the American setting…The entire controversy began with the attack dogs of the pro-Israel lobby going after Sami Al-Arian…
[58]
· On February 20, 2003, CAIR chairman Omar Ahmad said in a press release, “[w]e are very concerned that the government would bring charges after investigating an individual for many years without offering any evidence of criminal activity. This action could leave the impression that Al-Arian's arrest is based on political considerations, not legitimate national security concerns.”
[59]
After Fawaz Damra was convicted for concealing his involvement in groups that advocated “violent terrorist attacks against Jews and others” on his citizenship application, CAIR-Ohio’s Executive Director defended him as a “great interfaith leader.”
· On June 18, 2004, Fawaz Damra, the Islamic Center of Cleveland’s Imam, was convicted of unlawfully obtaining his U.S. citizenship through a fraudulent application.
[60] The indictment had alleged that Damra concealed from the INS his affiliation with: (1) Al-Kifah Refugee Center; (2) PIJ; and (3) Islamic Committee for Palestine (ICP).[61]As noted above, the Al-Kifah Refugee Center was established as the American-based affiliate of Mekhtab al-Khidemat, which after the end of the Soviet-Afghan war became Al Qaeda.[62] PIJ is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization[63] and the ICP was a conduit for funds sent to PIJ to support terrorist activities.[64]
· At the start of Damra’s trial, CAIR Spokesman Ibrahim Hooper commented, “we’re concerned that all of his due process is maintained and evidence be free of religious or ethnic stereotyping…We’re always concerned when prominent leaders of the American Islamic community are charged, or detained or harassed.”
[65] In September 2004, Damra was sentenced to two-months in prison[66]and stripped of his citizenship.[67]

CAIR defense of Hamas leader Musa Abu Marzook

· On August 7, 1995, the Deputy United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York requested the arrest and extradition to Israel of IAP founder Musa Abu Marzook (who was formerly the chief and is currently deputy chief of the Hamas Political Bureau).
[68] Marzook was then arrested at Kennedy airport while returning from a trip to the Middle East.[69]

· As authorities mulled Marzook’s fate, CAIR came out in support of him. On May 10, 1996, Nihad Awad organized a press conference to support Marzook at which Awad said, “[t]he arrest, detention and extradition is politically motivated…[and] this campaign has been orchestrated to serve as a wedge between America and Islamic countries.”
[70]
· In June 1996, CAIR signed an open letter to then Secretary of State Warren Christopher that railed against “the injustice that has prevailed against Dr. Marzook” and alleged that “our judicial system has been kidnapped by Israeli interests.” The letter added, “Dr. Abu Marzook is a political leader; no more, no less than any other political leader in the world…”
[71]CAIR also labeled Marzook’s incarceration a hate crime in a 1996 report.[72]

CAIR defense of radical Imam Wagdy Ghoneim

· Wagdy Ghoneim is a radical Egyptian cleric who has been videotaped calling for suicide bombings at radical Islamic conferences.

· He has been denied entrance to Canada after immigration officials determined he was a member of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
[73] He also led the audience in a song with the lyrics, “No to the Jews, descendants of the apes,”[74] at the CAIR co-sponsored rally at Brooklyn College in May 1998.[75]

· Following Ghoneim’s arrest, CAIR Southern California Executive Director Hussam Ayloush defended him: “[t]he whole Muslim community today is under a microscope of scrutiny. Committing a mistake that would invite a slap on the wrist for anyone else could lead to prison or deportation for a Muslim.”
[76]

CAIR has repeatedly championed Sheikh Yusuf Al Qaradawi, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, who has issued fatwas calling for attacks on American forces and killing Jews and mandating Jihad. (In 2000, Qaradawi was banned from visiting the United State s.) As recently as July 26, 2005, in an interview on MSNBC, CAIR’s legal director Arsalan Iftikhar said:" For example, if you look at Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, the -- one of the most famous Muslim scholars in Cairo, Egypt, he has said unequivocally that people who commit suicide bombings and -- and acts of terror are completely outside the bounds of Islam."

Such statements are demonstrably false and reveal the true agenda of CAIR in trying to portray Islamic militants as "moderates" in public relations campaigns designed to deceive the American public.

Here are a sampling of Qaradawi fatwas and pronouncements:
· On July 13, 2004, on his weekly program on the Arab satellite channel Al-Jazeera, 'Shari'a and Life,' Qaradawi accused "the Jews" of permitting the spilling of Arab blood and of being oppressors, and he concluded, "There is no dialogue between us except by the sword and the rifle…"
[77]
In August 2004, Qaradawi signed a statement calling for the support of the terrorist “resistance” in Iraq to the American and Coalition forces, which stated:
“[t]hey emphatically reaffirm their full solidarity with the peoples of Iraq and Palestine and with their courageous and honorable Islamic and nationalist resistance. They call on both these resistance movements to rally and close ranks to confront the occupation ...They call on our Arab and Muslim peoples and on all the religious authorities and liberation forces everywhere to oppose the occupation and its savage crimes in Iraq and Palestine by providing all means of moral and material support to the honorable resistance and its jailed prisoners and their families and by being patient and steadfast until God's triumph comes -- and it is imminent, God willing -- and the land of Islam is cleansed of the desecration of the occupation.”
[78]
In March 2002, Qaradawi issued a fatwa on the “liberation” of “Muslim lands” from “disbelievers,” which stated the following:

“The meaning of Jihad in our present time particularly refers to striving to liberate Muslim lands from the grip of the disbelievers who usurped them and imposed on them their own laws in lieu of the Divine Law. Those disbelievers may be Jews, Christians or both or even pagans, who follow no particular religion at all. Disbelievers are all alike. Capitalists, Communists, Westerners, Easterners, People of the Book and pagans are by no means different from one other. They should all be fiercely fought if they attempt to occupy any part of the Muslim land.

“This duty falls on those closest to the occupied land, who should be aided by those closest to them, who, in turn, ought to be aided by those closest to them, till it becomes incumbent on all Muslims to take part in Jihad.

“Muslims have never been more severely afflicted than they are nowadays. Many of their lands have been captured by the disbelievers, on top of which is Palestine that has fallen victim to corrupt Jews. Similarly, Kashmir has been dominated by pagan Hindus. Chechnya and other Islamic states have fallen in the grip of pagan tyrannical communism.

“Retrieving these lands, freeing them from the clutches of atheists and their twisted laws is the joint responsibility of all Muslims. Declaring Jihad to save our land is an Islamic obligation. If war is waged anywhere to achieve this goal, namely to free the occupied lands of the laws and the tyranny of disbelievers, it is undoubtedly a case of Jihad for the sake of Allah.

“It thus needs to be financed from the money of Zakat, the amount of which is to be decided based on the total sum of the charity, the requirements of Jihad as well as the degree of the need of other potential recipients of charity. This is all to be decided by reliable scholars, if they are to be found.”
